Overview
Mahindra Thar.e is all set to get launched around August 2026. SUV Price is starting from 25 lakhs. As it is offered in two variants AX and LX.
Features of Mahindra Thar.e
In terms of design, the Thar.e will get a new grille with the model badging and three vertically stacked LEDs on either side, rounded square LED headlights, and grey front and rear skid plates. It will also receive dual-tone alloy wheels, chunky squared wheel cladding, rear door handles on the C-pillar, square LED taillights, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
Thar.e is expected to come with a 75kWh battery pack, mated to an which could deliver a range of over 400km. A dual-electric motor setup will be used, while 4WD (4-wheel drive) will be available as standard. The electric SUV could come with a big touchscreen system and a digital driver’s display.
Interiors
The interior of the lifestyle electric SUV will feature a new centre console dominated by a large touchscreen infotainment system, fully digital instrument console, new multifunction steering wheel with the Thar.e logo at the centre, and grab-rails on either side of the new dashboard.
The Mahindra Thar.e concept is offering a first-ever glimpse of the 5-door version of the electric Thar. The interior might feature a large touchscreen unit and a digital instrument cluster, as indicated by the images of the concept’s cabin. The Thar.e might incorporate a dual-electric motor setup with all-wheel drive (AWD) as a standard.
Battery & Powertrain
Mahindra has not revealed the specifications of the Thar.e. The model is likely to be powered by a 60kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors. There could be one electric motor on each axle, thus enabling 4WD capability.
