On Tuesday, an announcement was made by a Chinese chipset brand, UniSoc, about the launch of its T760 5G chipset for India. Experts believe it will increase the market share of 5G around 10% by the end of the year. The key partner in India with which the Chinese company is collaborating is OEM (original equipment manufacturer). This company is essential in bringing the new chipset to the market.

The company issued a statement in which it clearly mentioned that UniSoc excels in high-definition gaming, multitasking, photography and video recording tasks, promising users a plethora of joy and satisfaction across a wide range of activities and interactions.

Moreover, the semiconductor design company stated that their innovative AI development platform enables the chipset to quickly and effectively enhance various applications, ultimately providing a more intelligent user experience.

The best thing about it is that it utilises a multimode-integrated innovative architecture and AI intelligent adjustment technology, resulting in a 37 per cent reduction in power consumption in a 5G standby scenario.

Besides that, Qualcomm will launch its chipsets for 5G handsets very soon in India.

Anuj Sidharth, Deputy Director, Marketing & Communications at MediaTek, said that the Dimensity 6000 series is an entry point which powers various smartphones at an accessible price point. It was believed that in India, the share of the 5g market is higher than globally. UniSoc has always had a strong portfolio of chipsets in 2G and 4G; the introduction of UniSoc T760 makes it accessible to all.
